Achieved Prior Learning (APL) form

Use this form to request that a qualification achieved before a learner account was opened is recorded in a learner account.
Qualifications achieved before 1 January 2005 can’t be considered as prior achievement. You can use this form for one learner and up to two previously achieved qualifications. Please only enter NCFE qualifications.

Please submit this form as soon as the learner account is opened. All requests must be submitted by 16 July for upload to the Diploma Aggregation Service (DAS). If all the mandatory information is accurate, prior achievement will be recorded in the learner account within 10 working days. If any of the information is inaccurate, missing or unclear, we’ll contact you using the contact information provided below.

Centre number*:	Please enter the NCFE centre number that was provided on centre approval. If you're using a certificate for reference this number can be found in the lower middle area of the certificate.
Centre name*:	Please enter the centre name that is associated with the centre number provided above
Unique Learner Number (ULN)*:	Please enter the Unique Learner Number (ULN) for the learner. A ULN is a 10 digit number that has been issued to the learner when they register their details with the Learner Registration Service. Please note that the ULN must not start with a 0
